HB 456, sponsored by Rep. Samara Heavrin, to allow sheriffs offices flexibility on scheduling overtime, passed the Senate State and Local Government committee today. Jerry Wagner of the Ky Sheriff’s Association was also at the table.

HB 596, the annexation bill, passed the Senate Committee on State and Local Government Wednesday 10-1.

HB 596, the compromise annexation bill sponsored by Rep. Jonathan Dixon, cleared the House Friday with a 93-1 vote.
