Recieved Mr. Fazlul Bari, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Iraq. We discussed the current regional challenges and developments, as well as enhancing bilateral cooperation. I commended the valuable contributions of the Bangladeshi community working across various fields in Kurdistan.

Received CG Klaus Streicher of German Consulate Erbil. We discussed the current regional dynamics, Erbil-Baghdad issues and recent high-level visits to the USA and Kurdistan Region. Highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and expressed gratitude for our friendship.

During my meeting with the #French Consul General Yann Braem, we discussed the current developments in KRI and Iraq, and challenges facing the region. Also emphasized the importance for continued support and strengthened bilateral relations in various fields of cooperation.

In a meeting of Nechirvan Barzani, PM Masrour Barzani, DPM Qubad Talabani, KRG ministers and senior officials with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and a high-level accompanying delegation, discussed regional situation and emphasized enhancing bilateral ties and cooperation across all levels.

In Erbil, Nechirvan Barzani Nechirvan Barzani headed the meeting of Kurdistan Region’s ministers with Türkiye’s ministerial delegation led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Economic and security cooperation were high on the agenda.

Today marks the 126th anniversary of Kurdish #journalism —a historic milestone.

In 1898, the first issue of #Kurdistan Newspaper was published, coinciding with the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Journalists Union.

Congratulations to all journalists.

Concluded a successful visit to #Washington , accompanying Iraqi Prime Minister محمد شياع السوداني. We look forward with anticipation to positive developments in future relations between the USA, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region.

Attended a roundtable session with PM محمد شياع السوداني and presidents/representatives of a number of American companies, hosted by U.S. Chamber. Witnessed the signing of MoUs between Iraqi institutions and American companies and institutions in various economic and investment sectors.

Had a fruitful meeting with DAS Victoria Taylor and colleagues U.S. State Dept - Near Eastern Affairs. We discussed recent developments and continued cooperation on issues of mutual interest.

Our thoughts and solidarity are with the people and governments of the #UAE and Sultanate of #Oman affected by the recent floods and challenging conditions. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a swift recovery to all injured.

37 years ago, the peaceful villagers of Balisan Valley and Sheikh Wasan suffered brutality, gassed in the #Anfal genocidal campaign by Ba'ath regime—a haunting reminder of Kurdistan's resilience in the face of humanity's darkest atrocities.
