Met with H.E Nicolaij Peterson the Danish Ambassador to Uganda and his deputy Henric Jespersen, I received a detailed brief on current and upcoming initiatives of cooperation between our countries.

I briefed the envoys on the proposed scientific election roadmap. Our view is that the elections can go on within the guidelines of the electoral commission and the scientists.

Concerning COVID -19 fight, led by our scientists, we are undertaking a prevention strategy and boosting immunity for the cases we have registered.
We have 717 recovered as of 24th June 2020 and no death registered so far.
