The Orthodox Ethos It will offend some people but I suggest same re late Metr Kallistos Ware. He certainly erred on ecumenism &, tragically, his error that🏳️‍🌈could be reined in by 'committed relationships.' But we should not let his faults negate his virtues.

Kallistos Ware is just completely wrong. Only Constantinople (...if i'd give the benefit of the doubt) accepted the union. all other Patriarchates rejected it as tyrannic.

How do we reconcile that this is not a position that the East necessarily holds? IIRC Kallistos (Timothy) Ware outlined in his book “The Orthodox Church” how Protestantism and RC are much more closely aligned with each other than with EO
