This is crazy. Israel arrested a renowned feminist scholar teaching at Hebrew University in Jerusalem - who is a dual American and Israeli citizen (!) - because she accused Israel of genocide in Gaza and questioned reports of mass rape on Oct 7th.

How did we get a point where people are more worried that Jewish students at Columbia feel uncomfortable by chants to end Israel's genocide in Gaza than they are worried about the safety of the people facing a genocide?

I am seeing lots of news stories where the loved ones of the 7 aid workers are interviewed telling us who they were and why they didn’t deserve to be killed. They are humanised, their stories are told. It is very touching and I am glad this is being done.
