Gun violence is a public health crisis. Thank you Governor Gretchen Whitmer for supporting common sense gun legislation.

Hate crimes, and particularly crimes directed towards the Jewish community are on the rise. My office will not tolerate hate crimes in our community, which is why I formed the Hate Crimes Unit to address and combat such offenses head on.

The fight is far from over and I am committed to fighting for safe access to critical reproductive healthcare.

Abortion, including medication abortion, remains legal in Michigan.

The fight for reproductive freedom is not over.

I am committed to continuing the fight to protect the fundamental right to reproductive health care.

This afternoon Prosecutor McDonald testified before the Civil Rights, Judiciary, and Public Safety Committee of the Michigan Senate on the newly proposed gun legislation package.
