We are about to plant another 30,000 trees - all in edges, hedges and cattle grazed landscapes

The number of trees you can get in to a traditionally farmed landscape is unreal

It’s not that hard if you want to, and use the non profitable bits of land and design it intelligently

Absolutely delighted to have an early Christmas present this morning— copies of my first book! My research assistant has given it a thorough inspection 😆

Very many thanks to Caroline Palmer and all the team at Boydell & Brewer for their hard work!

My Opinion piece in Financial Times (and tomorrow in print) outlines my argument that the Ministry of Justice proposals on digitising and destroying public wills are foolhardy& short-sighted, misjudging the state of digital preservation & the importance of material evidence. on.ft.com/3RRv3PK

Today's thesis madness (and yes, to those keeping score, I am still in the last few weeks): just read over a paragraph, which reads 'the manuscript differentiates the different elements of the page through different scripts...' I think it's time for my medication. 😫

Working in Bodleian Libraries Weston today with headphones on shuffle, when by BTS_official came on. Surreal to look up at silent reading room. This is the moment I would usually be up and dancing. Trust me, in my head I was dancing 🕺 🎶 💜

Currently mired in rewrite of what I think all concerned can agree is weakest chapter of thesis. Husband brought strawberries to my desk. Rewriting with strawberries is definitely an improvement. 😊🍓
