We have a few deer herds in the patchy wooded areas in our suburbs. One of the herds that roam by our house has two young bucks and a doe. One of the bucks is really curious and sometimes follows us at a distance.

This iconic graph tracks how rapidly our planet is warming. Yet every time it's shared on Twitter, someone always asks, 'Why does it begin in 1850?'

The answer is simple: it's when we first had enough thermometers to compute a truly representative global temperature average.

I feel like Europe is calling me back. I miss it.
I've been doing a lot of networking this past year or so with fellow climate and eco people. The majority of the people I've connected with seem to be in Europe.

@Jaime__67 No you think humans cutting down 15 billion trees a year is just nature - pumping millions of years of stored carbon of gas oil coal into atmosphere in just over 200 years is just nature - global warming today is all down to humans not natural as in past climate change

Let's talk about food at .

No, not the $35 croissants you might have been hearing about, but food and farming and their role in climate and the negotiations.

Even a small reduction in mowing - including public spaces like parks, road islands and roadverges - can boost wildlife & wildflowers, help pollinating insects, and save money. An easy way to give nature a chance. RT if you're on board for helping the bees and butterflies 🐝

Look at all the friends we have visiting our little canal beach for a drink of water. Can anyone identify these ? There's whitetail deer and I'm not sure about the others that are likely bird, weasel, and rodent.
