For 2-3 weeks in the spring, the desert floor in eastern California comes alive with wildflowers everywhere the eye can see. We saw: brittlebush, beavertail cactus, justices, desert sand verbena, basket evening primrose, desert sunflower, creosote, and chaenactis.
