Kyle Freeland spoke with the media today after going on the IL with a left elbow strain. He said he will “be shut down for a period of time.” Freeland doesn’t think there is UCL damage but he hasn’t spoken to the doctor who did the MRI yet. Not great news on the #Rockies front.

Tonight's #Rockies     game vs. #Mariners has been postponed because of weather. There will be a split doubleheader Sunday, 1:10 p.m. and 6:10.

The Rockies announced today that they have placed left-handed pitcher Kyle Freeland on the 15-day injured list (left elbow strain), retroactive to April 16, and have recalled right-handed pitcher Noah Davis from Triple-A Albuquerque .

The #Rockies announced Kris Bryant has been placed on the 10-day IL (retroactive to April 14) with a low back strain stemming back to a nasty crash into the outfield fence in Toronto. OF Sean Bouchard has been recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque.
