Wow. It took two years, but we've now had our first confirmed bear sighting in our back yard. Unfortunately, it's too dark and it was too far away to get any pictures.

Our son has been binge-watching B-grade monster / horror movies from the 50s and 60s this month.

Tonight we watched “Night of the Lepus”.

So bad it was, well, bad. But, our son enjoyed watching and laughing at it with us, and *that* made it all worthwhile.

In an ASN.1 UPER encoding, the bit to indicate an extension is at the beginning of the object. TIL that that is true _except_ for the Bit String object, in which case it is at the end of that object.
