Finalists of the Presidential Innovation Awards have convened at the KCB Leadership Centre for an innovation showcase, aiming to secure business support and networking opportunities to advance their projects.

The goal of the Presidential Innovation Award (PIA) is to promote innovation as a driver for socio-economic development through fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and commercialization capabilities of Kenyan innovators.

KCB Foundation has partnered with the Kenya National Innovation Agency Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) to host the Presidential Innovation Challenge and Award pilot programme national finals in Nairobi.

The challenge will see 30 finalists drawn from across the counties, pitch their ideas for assessment through a joint panel evaluation to identify the top 3 innovations.

1. Food Security and Agriculture
2. Climate Action and Green Energy
3. Digital Transformation and Healthcare.

The Presidential Innovation Awards finalists signed their grant agreements, marking a significant milestone in the journey to support and amplify their groundbreaking initiatives that hold the potential to shape the future and drive positive change on a national scale.
