It’s easy to commit to the goal.
Can you commit to the process?

So good.

Surface-level relationship = surface-level coaching.

Leaders are optimists. That doesn’t mean they ignore reality. It means they see the situation but lead with hope and belief that drives the team forward toward a better day.

Pessimism and negativity hold us back.
Optimism leads to better outcomes.

Leaders stir up hope.

You can demand a better standard without demeaning them.
You can hold them accountable without shaming them.
You can challenge them without crushing them.
You can correct them without embarrassing them.

Call people up, not out.

If you’re not willing to bet on yourself, don’t expect other people to bet on you.

So fired up. Good to have playoff basketball back in the 405.

Average thinking causes you to play it safe because you’re too afraid of what others will think about you if you fail.

The greats aren’t afraid to fail because they know it’s the only way to growth and success.

You weren’t made for average, so stop thinking and living like it.
