Members of the Crypt Choir sang Evensong at St Lawrence Jewry in London last week. Both events were extremely well attended, and the Dido cast were treated to a standing ovation!

A group of 6b Geography pupils visited London Docklands & the QE Olympic Park area to evaluate the success of urban regeneration projects over the past 40 years and investigate the improvements in the transport infrastructure.

The boys in Meister Omers boarding house cycled over 1700 miles in 24 hours in support of the @britishredcross Ukraine appeal. The boys undertook 30-minute sessions and our Head, Ms Lowson, even got involved. They raised over £3000 in the process.

Our pupils have continued their volunteering work at St Stephen’s Church.

They have been clearing away weeds, planting perennial plants and replenishing soil beds to introduce some colour and make it a quiet area for the parish to reflect in.

Our 1stand 2nd VII Netball teams are both enjoying successful seasons.

We hosted 12 schools at the Birley’s tournament this week and both teams performed well against some very strong opposition.

Tonight we welcome OKS, Jonny Murch (MR 1991-96) to talk to pupils about the Business of sports, the Olympic Games and its ongoing evolution.

Jonny is the Founder and CEO of Redtorch, a content and creative agency working to make sport more relevant.

Our Year 10 Drama pupils experienced a wonderful and entertaining night of theatre, watching Metamorphosis in Hammersmith.

Over the half-term break, our Geology pupils visited Northern Ireland, touring the Giant’s Causeway and the various mining caves.

Science pupils went to Disneyland Paris, learning the science behind rollercoasters and enjoyed a fun day at the amusement park.

Congratulations to Year 12 pupil, Nathan who captained England U18 Hockey in a three-match series against Ireland.

Tradescant House raised £4,200 by sleeping out under the stars on the Dovecote Lawn at our St Augustine’s campus.
The whole house took part in the sleepout, raising money for Asthma and Lung UK. The pupils also enjoyed playing laser tag and having a firepit.
