We all are in engineering and are pursuing advanced degrees because we want to make a positive difference in this world. But some things don’t require advanced education, they require compassion and caring for others. They require making a stand for what is right.

Take every opportunity you can to stand up to all the forms of institutional racism the plaque our society. Use your privilege to stand together with those are disadvantaged and amplify their voices. They need to be heard. Make a positive difference in the world.
