With Chile having now notified NZ formally of ratification, it will become a fully fledged #CPTPP member on 20th February 2023 (60 days later).

So the UK has until then to complete accession talks, before Chile can also join negotiations.

The UK is on target to manufacture 800,000 cars in 2022, despite the impact of Covid lockdowns overseas, recently in China (a key car export market for us), and the global chip shortage, if SMMT production figures for Jan–Nov this year are projected to year-end. Not too shabby.
