BREAKING NEWS: Jesse Norman informs us that the #LoanCharge Review will not now report till the next Government is in place, but still they refuse to suspend the #LoanCharge 31st Jan declaration date, which is outrageous.

I was pleased to see the Prime Minister confirm a review of HM Revenue & Customs’ Loan Charge this week in Parliament. Today I’ve met again with affected constituents and have written to HMRC’s Chief Executive calling for these unfair retrospective demands be meanwhile suspended.

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay . In the UK a Government policy, the #LoanCharge , has led to suicides, 6 have been reported directly to us. HM Revenue & Customs & HM Treasury were warned last year of the risk but ignored this. Last week families held a vigil at HMRC. #LoanCharge Suicides
