Found some very beautiful chives flowering in the garden this morning so I invited them to sit for me in the studio. I think they did very well. #stilllife #flowers #studiophotography

I have two plants growing in the garden that I did not plant. Erysimum and Tellima Grandiflora. I also noticed a rose that had its entire root system removed three years ago, popping some shoots through the grass. Gifts from the birds or simply determined, they all get to stay.

The season of the bees is upon us.

First opening of the hive this year!!! I fell in love with bees about a year ago and decided to buy some and take a chance. My dad has helped me throughout and made sure to keep me motivated. I’m so glad i started out so young because it’s truly an amazing skill to learn :)

Since 2020, but especially since I got Long Covid, I've found that friendships can feel very one-sided. I am expected to make space/respect others lives/experiences but others don't feel the need to make space or respect mine. Covid amirite?

So this is one of the best books I have ever read. Maybe it's the best book I've ever read.

Sad I didn't read it until now, but grateful I've read it at all.

Often, even if I'm incredibly clear about how I'm feeling, people struggle to believe it/adjust behaviour or expectations because I 'seem fine'.

I'm just incredibly good at masking. Which is done more for your comfort than mine.
