The Blue Jays had a chance to record their first sweep of the season Sunday.

Instead, they frittered it away with a litany of mistakes in a 6-3 loss to the Padres.

Fernando Tatis Jr. just made his second highlight-reel catch of the game, leaping high in the right-center gap to rob George Springer of extra bases.

Oh boy. Daulton Varsho hits a ground ball the right-field line and the ball girl came out and touched it. She thought it was foul.

It's a ground-rule double for Varsho. Might have had potential to be more if she hadn't touched it.

And now Jansen is charged with catcher's interference, pushing another run home for the Padres.

The Padres had the bases loaded, one out and Fernando Tatis Jr. at the plate in a tie game.

Davis Schneider ties this game up with a two-out, solo home run to left-center off Joe Musgrove.

And Jurickson Profar, who swung at a pitch that hit him, just got picked off of second base by Chris Bassitt to end the inning.

I have to say, with the renovated Gallagher Square and some of the new food options, I think Petco Park has moved up to the No. 1 stadium in MLB.

I used to have Oracle Park (SF) and PNC Park (PIT) ahead, but I think Petco has made the leap.
