It was an honor attending the 18th Annual ICAN Childhood Grief and Traumatic Loss Conference. ICAN is the official County Agent to coordinate the development of services for the prevention, identification and treatment of child abuse and neglect. #LASD ican4kids.org

I was honored to attend a community interfaith Iftar dinner tonight during Ramadan. LASD shows solidarity with those in the Islamic faith, and we want to do it in collaboration with community members of all faiths that exist in our diverse Los Angeles County  #LASD #Ramadan #Unity

Today, I joined US Attorney L.A. Martin Estrada along with other Federal & local law enforcement agencies to announce Operation Safe Cities. An initiative designed to increase federal prosecutions of the region’s most violent criminals.

Chief Moore has retired after an impressive 42-year career in law enforcement. His dedication, leadership, & commitment to serving the community have left a lasting impact on the LAPD HQ and the people he has served.
