Books trump clothes — walk-in closet turned into library overflow!

Our latest Bad Lilies—incredibly, this is our nineteenth issue. And with this issue, we turn three years old! I can barely process that fact. We hope you enjoy the glorious poets who have contributed to this wonderful birthday bouquet. Thank you for your support, dear readers. 🌸

I wrote this poem in time for my second collection, but didn't know whether I'd got it right, so sat on it for a few years.

I'm looking forward to reading for you in Bristol on 18 May.

Part of my life's work has been to incorporate Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard crisps into a poem... and here it is in 'Swans We Cannot See' The Gallery Press. Is it just me or should there be more crisp flavours with mustard in them?

I’ve been writing though not submitting but finally roused myself from my stupor to send one off this morning —only to read on Duotrope that the journal is possibly defunct. No indication on the website that this is the case. I could write the editor but I like a mystery.
