Light cavalry reconnaissance troops can cover more ground, faster, than any other land asset in the British Army.

Ex SPRING STORM saw us cover up to 60km of forested terrain in hours, sweeping through Estonia at the front of a brigade advance.

The Light Dragoons Battlegroup met the Estonian Prime Minister today on Ex SPRING STORM. A fantastic opportunity during a great exercise.

LD Battlegroup is part of 14,000 NATO troops exercising in Estonia on Ex SPRING STORM. Reassuring allies, deterring adversaries.

The Light Dragoons were honoured to be part of the coronation of HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla on 6 May 2023.

The historic day culminated with three cheers from over 6,000 troops and a flypast of the Red Arrows.

Each year, units from across the British Army compete in the Bismarck Challenge, hosted by @1ukdivision.

Soldiers run 4 miles, carrying 15kg, cross-country.

For the third year in a row, The Light Dragoons The Light Dragoons won the event.
