We wrapped up April, National Poetry Month, with our 8th Annual Poetry Out Loud Competition. Students were tasked with memorizing and reciting a poem to perform in front of their peers, teachers, parents, and judges. Congratulations to Isiah Johnson '25 for taking home 1st Place!

Several Lasallians accompanied St. Jean Baptiste students to a courthouse downtown last week to explore different career paths in the legal field. They had the opportunity to sit in a jury box, observe a case presented by attorneys, and participate in jury deliberations.

Our Varsity Baseball team is geared up and ready to bring home another WIN after Tuesday's victory.

First pitch is 4:30 at the Parade Grounds in Brooklyn.

Faculty & staff were surprised with a homemade lunch today, courtesy of the amazing Mrs. Power P'25! Mrs. Power, who runs a catering business, generously decided to spend her day off spreading joy at LSA. We are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful community.

These students were 'Not throwing away [their] shot' to see Hamilton on Broadway, earlier this week. Theater teacher, Ms. Powers and History teacher, Dr. Roedell, traded in their textbooks for tickets and accompanied the group to the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
