Wise words here from Sandy Schmid (Sandra Schmid), CSO of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network. As well as interviewing Sandy, I had the pleasure of attending her talk on ‘Navigating a career in the biomedical sciences’ - a talk I’d highly recommend (and one I wish I’d heard about 20 years ago)!
I’m really pleased that J Cell Science is part of this trial with Review Commons! We look forward to further supporting the growth of Review Commons and extending its reach into the cell biology community.

Lastly, another reason to publish with J Cell Science is that they plant a tree for every paper published with them, and you become part of the The Forest of Biologists. A great idea to increase biodiversity. Our paper is Tree no. 5012, which is a Wild Cherry tree: shorturl.at/ciET1
