Our position remains that the material reality of our sex matters, and agree with WRN that the introduction of the word gender in this bill presents a loophole for self ID that needs to be closed.

We submitted evidence to the consultation for this bill outlining our concerns about the language used, i.e. the use of Gender rather than Sex which does not differentiate between men & women.

Asked by Meghan Gallacher MSP about the involvement of LGBTYS in Primary Schools, Jenny Gilruth denied they undertaking a pilot programme in schools.

This may be obfuscation - or just a lie. LGBTYS has been in Primary schools in Scotland for at least 6 years.

The BBC has issued its third apology to JK Rowling in 14 months. The latest apology came when it inaccurately said her 'derogatory comments' would constitute a hate crime. The previous apologies both came after it accused her of 'transphobia'

Language used in the bill wording needs to be clear.

The Welsh Government needs to be specific in the language it applies in legislation.

Good news from Arts Council England - if this is correct it is a wise and timely decision by Darren Henley CBE and Nick Serota

My motion to disaffiliate from Stonewall will be coming back to Green Party conference in Sept. I intend an amendment, too, to take account of Cass disinformation. We are spoilt for choice as to reasons to disassociate from this disreputable charity.

. The Arts Council England has left Stonewall following its own disastrous employment tribunal, re failure to protect a colleague, & stop authoritarian employees bullying and silencing a her.

NHS England also left Stonewall last year. It has also cancelled conference attendance.
