We have wonderful volunteers across Greater Manchester and it was a pleasure to meet the Friends of Littleborough Stations today.

Their Chair, Richard Lysons and the team were busy clearing the overgrowth and rubbish outside Littleborough Station.

What a fantastic welcome for Andy Burnham from the fantastic Junior Blast band to open the brilliant new building for local company R17 today.

A brilliant family business, employing more than 20 people, recruiting locally and opening their Head Office in Littleborough.

Pleased to meet Tom Besford this morning and support his campaign to protect Pembroke Park in Littleborough. He has worked tirelessly with local residents to defend this protected open space.

On 2nd May vote for your local champion Tom Besford and vote Andy for Mayor.

Unfortunately I was unable to vote on the ceasefire motion as I was in hospital receiving chemotherapy. My position is clear: I will continue to work towards pressuring our government for a ceasefire to safeguard innocent civilians and achieve peace.
