good short-notice trip to Seattle to visit with my brother in the hospital. also was nice to see a few friends in the area too while my brother rested as well! thanks to you all, it was nice to have the emotional support. 💙 my brother is doing great and should be out by Friday!

saw my brother today and he looks really good! but god I had to step outside into the garden to cry a bit. I hate seeing family (especially my twin) in so much pain and going through so much. I feel so powerless.

lots of anxiety for a whole bunch of things, but mostly my brother’s condition and a slight fear of flying as it’s been a hot minute since I’ve flown anywhere. but I’m strong and everything is going to be just fine!

off to Seattle for an extended weekend to help my brother recover from his surgery he’s having tomorrow! 💙

brother’s emergency surgery last night went well! he’s just super tired and is taking it easy… he’s gonna spend the next week in the ICU recovering.

got the unfortunate news today that my brother is back in the hospital with an issue regarding his hydrocephalus. they did an initial surgery that was successful and he's in good spirits, but I cannot help but feel so bad with all the stuff he's gone through the past six months.
