Our next round of severe weather will arrive Tuesday afternoon and evening. Very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are all possible. Keep a close eye on the forecast and have a plan for severe weather.

Lancaster County is in a Marginal risk for severe weather today. Storms are expected to move into the area this evening and may bring large hail, high winds and heavy rain. Additional sever weather is expected for the next few days. Be aware and be ready!

Cornhusker hwy is open to traffic in both directions. An overnight lane closure is in place. Please make sure to take it slow through the area for crew safety.

Westbound Cornhusker hwy is closed at N. 23rd street at this time. Consider using Superior street or Salt Creek Roadway as an alternate route for the near future.
