Morden Peregrines. The 2nd egg was laid during the night. The falcon went into the box at 23.05 and the egg was revealed when she left at 04.35. Images during the night aren't clear, but there may be 2 showing at 00.10. If so, this would be a gap of almost 73 hours from the 1st.

Morden Peregrines. Great news! We have our first egg this year! The falcon went into the box at 21.09 last night and the egg was laid at 23.21. The 2nd/3rd images are of the moment it was laid, and then a better view of it a few seconds later when the falcon moved.

Sutton Peregrines. We now have 4 eggs! Still 3 at 08.00 (1st pic). She seemed to be in a laying position at about 10.00 (2nd) when I think it was laid, and the first time all 4 were seen was when she briefly got up at at 12.11 (3rd). The first good view was at 12.50 (4th).

Sutton Peregrines. The third egg has been revealed!
The first view of all three on camera was at 08.18 when the falcon got up as the tiercel returned with food.
It's not known when it was laid as it was off camera at the time, but I'm assuming it was late yesterday evening.

Sutton Peregrines. Great news! We have our first egg this year! She doesn't appear to have laid in the first images at 07.06 and 07.20. The camera was then off her until 07.25 when her position had changed and she revealed the egg, and I think that's when it had just been laid.

2/2. This evening the tiercel brought in a Woodcock - headless but still fresh, which he then gave to the falcon. Although a bird they tend to catch in the autumn, they did have one here on 14 March last year too. He also brought in a Starling earlier this morning.

The thing about watching Peregrines at this time of year - if you have a little bit of patience and keep looking up, you might just catch something very specialโ€ฆ Spoilt only by my commentary and Chris Packham / @jimmoir10 style, leg rubbing. But that call when they flew past ๐Ÿคฏ

Morden Peregrines. Both birds were in the box at times today, the falcon twice going in just after the tiercel had left, so no in box courtship displays. Both also did some scraping in the gravel this morning. Tiercel in first/third images, falcon in second/fourth.

Morden Peregrines. 1/3. An eventful day - first with a nice close courtship display with the resident unringed falcon lasting about 1.5 minutes at 16.00.

All eyes are on our EalingWildlifeGroup Peregrine nest box on Ealing Hospital, as Dusty spends her nights now roosting at the nest site. Egg laying is any day now, & you can watch the live action & scroll back through previous 12 hours here:

Sutton Peregrines. All within the space of 3 minutes between 10.54 and 10.57 this morning, a courtship display, the falcon briefly scraping in the gravel, she returned to the ledge, the male left and came back and they mated. He left again, immediately returning with a food gift!

Morden peregrines. 1/2. The falcon with the orange Darvic ring was back this afternoon. She followed the tiercel into the box, presumably for a courtship display, but he wasn't keen and was gone in seconds! We've still not been able to read the ring.

Morden Peregrines. A different falcon was in the box twice at about 15.30 today. Initially she went in after the tiercel for a courtship display, but he seemed a bit intimidated and left quickly! She has an orange Darvic ring but I couldn't read it. Maybe the bird I saw on 04/02.

Morden Peregrines. I've not seen anything on camera since 28 Feb (though the camera was down from late Sat until Monday am), so it was nice to see two courtship displays this afternoon at about 14.50 and 16.40. I'm not sure the tiercel really wanted to be so close in the second!

This pesky drone was hovering and pestering the female PEREGRINE at St Albans Cathedral for half an hour today. Could this be classed as an illegal activity (nesting site of a Schedule One species). If you know who is responsible, please DM me
