It’s my last day as CEO of The Health Lottery. I loved leading its transformation, launching the new website & subs product, telling the stories of the people whose lives we transformed & handing over large cheques! Off to find my next adventure, be it land, sea or river-based!

Not a flat out slog so not a PB (250 +2s 2k pace, 250 -1s 2k pace) but not too bad for an old bird I guess. Some of the racing we are doing this season will be over 2k against seniors so need to keep up! (To non rowers - seniors are not old, even though it sounds that way!).

As interesting as it is to get yet another insight into the “lunacy” of men’s libido - should we need reminding - it’s totally insane that this piece ran. Gobsmacked.

How can I move?

I’ve been banging on about crémant for years - mainly because I hate Prosecco, my in-laws are from Burgundy and we have a house in Jura. The Aldi stuff is really good (if you can get your hands on it) and Louis Bouillot bubbly, stocked in Sainsbury’s.

We got our entire 1994 #boatrace crew together for our 30th anniversary yesterday. Plus our coach Richard Manners, who fell in love with my crew mate Emma - they got married and had three wonderful kids! 💙💙💙
