Unless you have been to medical school & qualified as a doctor,

You are not “trained in medicine”

You are not “trained in the medical model”

You are not “working to the equivalent of an F1-ST7”

You should not be on a medical on-call rota, day or night

DM from a patient who’s also a physio

Crazy to think this is in any way helpful to the patient, the doctors, or the NHS

Work that will need repeated and done correctly, & a source of further anxiety and confusion for those undergoing complex procedures

PAs are a false economy
