Democrats Abroad cast their Democratic Presidential Preference Primary votes from March 5-12. The traditionally colored country winner map.

President Biden handily won Democrats in most countries, except in some in the Middle East and Uruguay.

A key turning point in Pennsylvania politics started with the 1992 election, where old collations met new ones.

The following is said election mapped by precinct and an analysis of different regions that defined it.

By my back-of-the-envelope calculations, 11.8% of New York Dem voters blanked or overvoted their ballots, largely to protest the Gaza war. The spoilage ranged from almost 25% in Brooklyn to about 3% in Wayne.

Map of spoilage rate by county vs 11.8% SW. Green >11.8; purple <11.8.

Despite finishing in 4th place, Barbara Lee won leftist parts of LA like Koreatown and Echo Park. She broke 30% in many Black areas, but Schiff won most of them. Porter won Long Beach, a progressive town near Orange County. Garvey won places that haven't been red for a long time

Behold, the 1948 presidential election in New Orleans. Thurmond beat Truman in most of the city, but only got majorities in a few areas. Dewey only got 23% of the city vote but won big in the wealthy neighborhood of Audubon. Eleven precincts hadn't reported any votes yet.

One of the surprises of Super Tuesday was incumbent North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction Catherine Truitt losing renomination to right-wing activist Michele Morrow, who has a history of problematic comments.

Last week, Trump won the MA GOP primary by 23 points. He did best in white working class areas, especially Italian and Portuguese ones. However, he struggled in very blue, very high ed places against Haley

However, I believe the data is generally accurate. Thus, starting from the top:

In 1890, the CRB found America to be 68% Protestant, 30.4% Catholic, 0.9% Mormon, and 0.6% Jewish. No other groupings were significant.

Behold - The 1972 Democratic Presidential Primary in Allegheny County

Despite winning the overall nomination, McGovern came in third place here behind Humphrey and Wallace, with each candidate having their own interesting coalitions.

Here's a map of the primary in Hennepin County, MN, where Uncommitted got over a quarter of the vote and won a lot of downtown Minneapolis precincts
