Lord Sugar Thank you sincerely for that, I received the green screen version for Christmas as a kid and i believe it only cost my parents 199 pounds, it made it affordable for our family… nice one Shuggs!

Lord Sugar Changed my life and part of my childhood, even praying for games to load and it’s this that got me into the games industry.

Lord Sugar I had one of these and it's successor the 6128. Excellent products the brought home computing to all, great for gaming and early word processing.

And then there were two!

Both amazing and worthy finalists. Good luck to Phil Turner and Rachel Woolford. May the best candidate win.

ON THIS DAY 40 years ago! On 11 Apr 1984 I launched the Amstrad CPC464 - the first affordable all-in-one home computer. On other home computers you had to hook up a TV and a cassette player. Not with ours - the CPC464 had it all. It was the start of the era of Amstrad computers.
