🤱📝 Latch On Study: Reduced breastfeeding among mothers with overweight or obesity can be significantly increased

🇮🇪 Irish breastfeeding rates are amongst the lowest worldwide, with only 44% of Irish newborns receiving breastmilk only on discharge from maternity services, and

🏥Evidence shows that Emergency Departments with low levels of nursing staff result in higher rates of patient mortality.

However, calculating the right level of staffing in EDs and wards can be complex and must account for the high level of variation in patients’ needs.
