GLA researchers contributed to a study of pregnant women #Veterans with serious mental illnesses. The researchers found important gaps in information & resources the women received. For example, most women felt they hadn't received enough info about medications & pregnancy.

On April 16, GLA held a ribbon cutting ceremony for our brand-new SACC Veteran’s Fitness Gymnasium, equipped with the latest state-of-art fitness equipment for Veterans’ health, wellness, recreation, and sport conditioning needs with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services.

Researchers at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System are seeking participants for a study aimed to help Veterans sleep better and reduce nighttime trips to the bathroom.

Researchers studied how often a large health system transferred patients between hospitals in their system. When all other factors are taken into account, researchers found no differences in how often Black, Latinx, & White patients were transferred.
