Faye Brown Mike V Cladding Victim Matthew Pennycook MP Rendall & Rittner openly admitted to taking a 10% commission on top of the 2.5% commission the insurance broker takes. Commissioning on insurance shouldn't be allowed. The higher the insurance cost, the higher their commission becomes.
Richmond House Residents No - no defects, no RAAC, no cladding.
Just that there is only a single building insurance provider in the market.
Matthew Pennycook MP Housing Associations MUST be made to buy back if the property is unsellable. I cannot sell my flat for safety issues way outside of my control, yet I need to continue paying mortgage, service charges and rising rent costs. I am completely stuck whilst they turnover millions.
🗣️Mike Amesbury MP
'They’ve shelled out massive increases in insurance premiums and on fire alarm systems. Now they must endure noise and disruption over a two-year period. Companies responsible for this fiasco should hang their heads in shame.'

Joseph Elliott Exactly the same for me. Buildings insurance has multiplied by TEN TIMES, communal electricity now costs me more than the electric for my own flat, somehow the estimate for the upcoming year is higher than last despite costs falling. Service charge up £90 a month.
Mojo Residents Rushanara Ali 💙 you’re aware that Mojo Residents have been trapped in a block with unsafe cladding for 4+ years. Will you get this removed now so cladding investigation works can finally start?!
Cladding Victim Identical situation here. HA building but run by a Managing Agent. Who takes an annual admin fee? The HA. For doing sweet FA. What a rip off Leasehold & Shared Ownership truly is. Exposed in full by the #BuildingSafetyCrisis .
Ben Fry Gresham House ✍️ on shared ownership: 'generating a secure, inflation-linked income for investors' 💰
Meanwhile, shared owners continue to struggle with annual above-inflation rent increases & sky-high service charges. 💸
Unethical.

Our service charges are up 78% since 2014. We need a cap on service charges and to be able to hold those raising the service charge to account.
We are cash cows and it’s not fair! We need a louder The Labour Party voice on all things leasehold, building safety and service charges!
