#kNOwWasteWednesday When recycling plastic spray/pump bottles, leave the nozzle on! Metal springs will come out in the process at the plastic recovery facility. As a general rule, leave plastic tops attached to plastic containers. Reuse containers first if you can!
It’s #kNOwWasteWednesday ! Plastic laundry baskets are not accepted in recycling! Try giving away or repurposing instead! Otherwise, place in the trash.
#kNOwWasteWednesday Never put plastic bags and wrap with your household recycling! They cause big problems at the sorting facility. Recycle at participating stores. Actually, try avoiding them. And most importantly, don’t let them get away from you – because plastic bags blow!
