Balham SNT are holding a community engagement for called Walk, Talk & Do for women and girls ONLY. This is an event involving female officers and meeting with women from the local community to go for a wak around Balham. Share with friends and family who are interested.

Over the past 18 months Cllr Daniel Hamilton and I have been working closely with Balham Police, Wandsworth Council and other agencies to tackle rough sleeping on and around #Balham High Road. This was discussed at Thursday’s Safer Neighbourhood Team meeting and remains a high priority.

Yesterday #ClaphamSouth tube station was closed yet again due to lack of staff. Cllr Daniel Hamilton and I have received many complaints from residents who use this service to commute into work. Local businesses have also suffered as a result. TfL must be held to account.

Over the past 2 years, residents in #Wandsworth have seen a continuous decline in fundamental services under the Labour-led council Wandsworth Council. These dangerous potholes in #Balham have been reported several times over the past 8 weeks and still not repaired.

Thank you Ravi Govindia CBE and Lord Udney-Lister. BPS is a true success story for those of us who live in the Borough.
