We flew 5.3 million kilograms of freight in 2022
(excluding passenger baggage allowances).

Around 1000 of these 5.3 million kilograms were flown on this flight in South Sudan in late 2022 bound for two locations.

𝐌𝐀𝐅'𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 🛩️🌏🙏✝️

We flew a total of 6.3 million kilometres in 2022 - that's the equivalent of 157 times around the equator.

23 of these kilometres were flown on May 4, 2022 - for a quick medevac from Atauro Island to Dili in Timor-Leste,

We flew 138,000 passengers to 1000 destinations across the 24 countries in which we serve.

One such passenger in 2022 was Princess Anne who flew with MAF in October to visit and advocate for projects in Uganda.

This is MAF Kenya engineer (Airframes and Engines) Naphtali Njuguna carrying out Torque Calibration during a Hot Section Inspection. The Torque calibration helps the pilots to have accurate engine power settings during all phases of flying.
