Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, Christopher Maier recently visited MARSOC. The goal of Maier’s visit was to learn more about MARSOC’s organization, current efforts, modernization, and command programs.

Angus R. Goss' seasoned leadership, and knowledge of demolitions, made him a valuable asset to the new 1st Marine Raider Battalion. His ingenuity, quick thinking, ferocious courage earned Goss the Navy Cross in 1942.
