Despite progress on recycling in many areas, too much plastic waste ends up in landfill or our oceans. So I was delighted to meet schoolchildren taking part in The Big Plastic Count project who came to UK House of Commons to explain what more we can do to cut plastic waste.

Great report on our new initiative in Bucks to help crack down on roadside littering. Fines of at least £500 with no discount. £1000 if not paid on time. #nolitterinBucks
Good to see Buckinghamshire Council ‘s pioneering scheme for dashcam footage and videos and photos being used as evidence to fine those who throw litter out of windows getting support. The Good Morning Britain poll revealed 80% of people supported the scheme
Just done a piece with Aylesbury Wombles for Channel 5 News with Bradley Harris around the litter issue we have not only in Bucks but across the country. And what Buckinghamshire Council are doing about it....which is a brilliant idea! BTW. 14 bags of rubbish was collected during filming!
