My tour of our #YorkCentre schools continued as I visited MadonnaCSS_TCDSB and met with the students and educators. Great to see first hand the Robotics Competition where the innovators of tomorrow are here today.
Last Friday, I joined the newest members of Waterloo Regional Police as they embarked on their fulfilling careers in public safety.
Congratulations, Constables. You chose this line of work because you want to do great things.
I know you’ll achieve that and so much more.
My tours of our #YorkCentre schools continued when I met the educators at Summit Heights PS who proudly serve our Armour Heights community. Our students are the leaders of tomorrow, and we are so proud of them!
First responders are our true heroes.
Last week, I visited Windsor to celebrate the new class of Windsor Police constables. While there, I met with Windsor Police Association, Tecumseh Fire 🇨🇦, Windsor Fire & Rescue Services, Windsor Firefighters 🇨🇦, LaSalle Police ON, LaSalle Police Association and Windsor Humane.
When it comes to keeping communities safe, every dollar counts.
Which is why they can’t be wasted paying for a carbon tax that no one wants.
Bonnie Crombie 🇨🇦, when are you going to admit to first responders that this tax is detrimental to public safety?
This government is showing up every day to make life more affordable for Ontarians.
And every day, the opposition refuses to help.
All we ask is that Bonnie Crombie 🇨🇦 call Justin Trudeau to say what everyone is already thinking: the carbon tax needs to go.
I continue to tour schools in #YorkCentre . Last week, I was pleased to be at Downsview Secondary School and was delighted to meet with educators and students. We talked about how our government is successfully transforming our economy for our students, helping them succeed.
Honoured to cut the ribbon and welcome Istilong Pinoy Hair Salon and owner Rizalyn to #yorkcentre . They are now a part of our growing “Little Manila.” Our diversity is our greatest strength.
I was pleased to visit NCJWCTO and UJA Federation of Greater Toronto Project Genesis in support of their respective Passover food drives that will provide meals to thousands of families in #YorkCentre .
