Officers arrested five people with the assistance of Live Facial Recognition technology at a deployment in Thornton Heath on Friday (12 April).

Some of the offences included a man wanted for harassment, a man wanted for burglary and another man wanted for theft.

A murder investigation is under way after a stabbing in #Croydon on Fri 12 Apr.

Rijkaard Salu Siafa, 22, died following the incident in Fellmongers Yard.

A man has been arrested and is in custody.

A 19-year-old man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage girl and threatening her with a knife in Lewisham.

Brian Cole, of Bromley, was convicted today after a trial. The incident happened in Forest Hill in December 2020.

Cole will be sentenced on 15 May.
