Contractors are continuing overnight work on the I565 overpass at the Town Madison District. Westbound detours extend into next week, May 6th through 9th from 10pm-4am. Please proceed with caution in the area.

Expect delays in the area of Sullivan Street and Main Street for the next 30 minutes due to traffic collision. Northbound lanes are currently blocked.

Everyone at Madison City Hall appreciates the artwork these kids make for our birthday cards. Mayor Finely passes out an individualized birthday card to every employee on their birthday. As thanks in return, Mayor Finley bought the kids popsicles and spent time with them.

Work continues on the Town Madison Interchange on I-565 in Madison. Expect nighttime detours for setting bridge girders over the interstate during the next two to three months implemented between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. nightly, Sunday, April 28, through Thursday, May 2.

The traffic light at Hughes Rd and Madison Blvd will be out for apx two hours. Officers will be on scene for traffic control.

Due to weather delays, the Hardiman roundabout project will pave tomorrow, 4/23 and reopen on 4/24. MU is simultaneously working on sewer maintenance on Segers rd, expected to reopen 4/24 as well. Detour routes for both projects are in place.

The City of Madison Parks and Recreation Department 100 Mile Challenge kick-off event is Saturday, April 27th at 9am at Bradford Creek Greenway.

The Hardiman Road Roundabout construction is slated to reopen Monday, April 22nd, weather permitting.

The Segers Road closure has been rescheduled to Monday & Tuesday (4/22 & 4/23).

Segers Road will close to through traffic between Creek Rock Drive and Chestnut Heath Court on Friday, April 19th for Madison Utilities sewer maintenance. The closure is set to last one day. Detour routes will be in place.

The road closure for Kendrick Lane has been postponed. Madison Utilities will coordinate with the City of Madison for rescheduling the sewer maintenance.

Kendrick Lane (between DeJan & Autumn Haven) will close to through traffic on Tuesday, April 16th, and Overbrook Drive (between addresses 108 – 112) will also close on Tuesday, April 23rd for sewer repairs.

The water main line has been repaired. Library will reopen Saturday for regular operating hours.

Due to a water main break, Madison Public Library is closed until further notice. Crews are currently working to resolve the issue.
