Check out the progress we’ve made on a slope stabilization project on Route 26 in Woodstock. After excavating the bank, stone and precast panels are used to retain the wall and keep the roadway safe for travel.

During Maine’s mud season, thawing frost and soft shoulders make roads unsafe for heavy loads and vehicles. Postings on roads typically remain up through May.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and you may see increased law enforcement on the roadways as part of the national media campaign Put the Phone Away or Pay. This campaign reminds drivers of the deadly dangers and the legal consequences of distracted driving.
