Language matters. Describing sexual violence or abuse as 'sex' is inaccurate, normalises sexual abuse and minimises the impact it has on survivors. It's important to call it out when we see this happening, such as when people use 'non-consensual sex' when they mean 'rape'.

If anyone has a secret mobile phone hidden from an abusive partner, remember to switch off emergency alerts, or the phone will be activated with the loud alert on the evening of 23/04. I think this government action is misguided for a few reasons

Dear Jeremy Hunt pls put in place an emergency mortgage plan for regulatory intervention that protects mortgage holders from the impact of likely sharp UK rate rises. Eg

- Loosening remortgage affordability rules
- Flexibility in terms
- Payment holidays
- Stronger forbearance
