Anyone who has been instructed to self-isolate because they're a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 is now released from isolation, so long as they have no COVID symptoms. Emails have been sent this evening by the COVID-111 team confirming this.

Home test kits (lateral flow devices) are available in packs of seven, free of charge.
Close contacts are encouraged to take a test every day for seven days from when they are notified they’re a close contact.

It is important that anyone aged 18-30 registers for vaccination as soon as possible to secure a first dose. From 10 May the dedicated staff working for at the vaccination centres will be committed to locking in protection for all those due their second dose.
