Start-up meeting of the MIST consortium: Mitigation strategies for airborne infection control. NWO Perspective (NWO-domein TTW (inactief)) program on #ventilation and #aerosols with a collaborative effort from fluid dynamics, physics, engineering, medicine, molecular biology, and 28 companies.

Some key messages from our paradigm shift paper (science.sciencemag.org/content/372/65…):
1. Design with the risk for indoor respiratory infections in mind.
2. Treat air quality similarly as we do water and food quality.
3. Monitor and display the air quality.
4. Better ventilation pays off...
