#AprilWorldbuilders Day 7 - SNIPPET: Blade
Little White Hands, Chapter 3 - The Hero's Crypt.
While fleeing from both the enemy and a storm, Garlan and Oldface take shelter in an old crypt, where they meet the ghost of Arlis, the ancient knight who is buried there.
#FantasyIndiesApril Day 6 - Demand
Faeland's Champion, Chapter 2 - A Dubious Invitation
Garlan & Elias have infiltrated the mansion of a strange nobleman who Elias believes has kidnapped his sister. They try to get a secret key from the animated portraits which keep it safe.
#AprilWorldbuilders Day 4
The blade of Garlan's sword is forged from steel with moon fragments worked into it, so that it shines in the dark.
The faeries also give him a shield with a beetle-shell surface, which amplifies in durability when he grows back to his original size.
Q for the #selfpublishing authors of the #WritingCommunity -
How often do/have you made changes to your book & re-published after initial publication?
I have once or twice (mostly with minor spelling mistakes fixed) but am considering it again with a significantly altered map.

Day 16 - Animals drawn to MC.
Later on in Faeland's Champion, Garlan & Co. are venturing home, grief-stricken.
A pack of crowolves (a griffin-esque creature, a wolf with a crow's head) are drawn to the scent of their grief and begin to follow them.
#marchworldbuilders Day 16 - Gods
There aren't gods in the typical sense, but deity-like beings/forces.
The seasons, for example, have physical personifications in the world, as do the rainbow & aurora. The four winds too.
There are also nature spirits. Trickster (๐) is one.
