This has been a very scary severe weather day across Nebraska and Iowa. The Weather Watch 12 team will be watching our severe chance for tomorrow very closely. We have a chance of all types of severe weather. The best chance of severe will be Saturday evening. Stay tuned!

Here is the latest on the weekend forecast:

Tonight: A few showers and isolated storms. No severe weather.

Saturday: Warm, windy, and humid. High: 80. Severe storm threat for the evening. Stay Tuned!

Sunday: Off and on storms. May end up cooler near lake.

3 days in a row of storm chances, but also dry times. Here is what to expect:

Friday: Dry most of the day. Showers/storms late afternoon and evening. Severe is not expected

Saturday: Partly sunny and WARM. Storms Late. Could be severe.

Sunday: Storms off and on all day.

Tomorrow will feel really chilly after today's warm day.

I'm so excited to unveil our newest camera on the Weather Watch 12 Camera Network in Racine. The camera is on the roof of the new Hotel Verdant. They have a very cool outdoor rooftop bar!

The clouds are fun to watch today. We have a lot of dry air near the surface so look for virga. Most of you will remain dry with just a few passing showers and maybe an isolated storm.

It's almost 70° right now but look up to the north. Those colder temps are heading our way. You will want your winter gear again tomorrow morning. (I'm just the messenger.)

2:30 PM Tuesday afternoon radar update: A few isolated showers and storms are popping up this afternoon. Most will remain dry. The severe threat is very low.

Quite a light show with all the lightning in Walworth County. New severe thunderstorm warning for all of Walworth County until 10:30. Stay with Weather Watch 12 for the latest.

Tornado watch extended into Jefferson and Walworth Counties until 10 PM. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Jefferson County until 9:30 PM.

Tornado warning southwest of Madison. We are watching closely.
